Accessibility Statement
Pursuant to Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of 11th October 2018 establishing a model accessibility statement in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on barrier-free access to the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.
Accessibility statement
Austrian Energy Agency strives to make its website accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG), as amended, implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26th October 2016 on barrier-free access to the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (ABl. L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1).
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.ca-res.eu.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is partially compliant with compliance level AA of the "Web Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.1" or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
Incompatibility with accessibility regulations
Not all HTML ELemments are wrapped with appropriate ARIA landmarks. Thus, WCAG success criterion 1.3.1 is not consistently implemented.
Forms do not use the ideal matching types for all fields (e.g., "text" instead of "email"), and autocomplete is disabled to avoid spam mails, which means that WCAG success criterion 1.3.5 (specify general purpose) is not met.
The HTML code of the website is occasionally not valid due to the age of the templates. Thus, WCAG success criterion 4.1.1 (Syntax analysis) is not correctly implemented.
Download buttons cannot be enlarged to 200% of their size by zooming, the font is partially cut off, which means that WCAG success criteria 1.4.4 and 1.4.12 are not implemented down to the last detail.
Due to a missing sitemap, there are no additional ways to navigate the website. Thus, WCAG success criterion 2.4.5 (Various methods) is not implemented correctly.
Creation of this accessibility statement
This statement was created on June 1st, 2021.
The assessment of the website's compliance with the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 took the form of an evaluation of the basic components of selected web pages carried out by a third party (Getdesigned GmbH) by means of evaluation according to WCAG 2.1 AA in 2020.

These complaints are examined by the FFG to determine whether they relate to violations of the requirements of the Web Accessibility Act, in particular deficiencies in compliance with accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an institution attributable to it.
If the complaint is justified, the FFG must issue recommendations for action to the federal government or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the deficiencies at hand.
